Family-owned and operated with the beautiful 24,000-acre Morgan Monroe State Forest adjacent to our property, CastleBrooke Farms offers our guests a large variety of outdoor activities that include hiking, bird-watching, hunting for mushrooms, geode-hunting, and biking.
Our large, modern barn and additional living quarters serve as the ideal lodge for groups exploring the state parks on our north and east sides. Three miles of trails and creeks extending throughout the property provide hours of exploration for hikers, bikers and bird-watchers. Whether you’re camping out or enjoying some low-key fishing in our two-acre pond, this venue is perfect for family reunions and gathering with friends.
CastleBrooke Farms also offers a unique, modern venue for weddings and business retreats in the middle of the secluded southern Indiana woodlands. Our large barn, built in 2016, holds up to 150 guests with 22 tables available. Another unique feature is our additional 2,500-square-foot living quarters that offer modern, high-end comforts and sleep up to 12.
Fishing licenses are required. Guests can bring mountain bikes; only non-motorized bikes are allowed on trails. Alcohol could be served with certain conditions.

Our beautiful grounds and newly constructed, large barn built in 2016 can accommodate up to 150 guests, with additional 2,500-square-foot living quarters for up to 12 guests. Our property has all of the amenities of a modern home with all of the seclusion that comes with being off-grid. Catered to your group size and event, we offer a large range of amenities.

Chris and Stacy, residents of Zionsville, initially created CastleBrooke Farms to be closer to their children attending Indiana University. What began as a harvested forest sitting adjacent to Morgan Monroe State Forest has turned into a beautiful, private escape. Chris, Stacy and their family and friends have enjoyed hiking, taking long walks, riding RTVs, fishing, and camping while quietly enjoying this private park setting.
Adding a massive 5,100-square-foot indoor space that includes bathrooms, showers, a kitchen and beds, the Brookes have created an outdoor haven with all of the indoor amenities to make guests’ stays comfortable and all-inclusive. Chris and Stacy love being so close to home, 15 minutes from Bloomington, and only an hour from the Northside of Indianapolis. CastleBrooke Farms truly gives them and all of their guests a home away from home—surrounded by any outdoor enthusiast’s dream landscape.

CastleBrooke Farms is located at 7901 N Fish Road in Bloomington, Indiana. With the Morgan Monroe State Forest adjacent to our almost 80-acre property on the north and east sides, we are the ideal location for outdoor enthusiasts. Oliver Winery is 10 minutes away and we are only a 15-minute drive to downtown Bloomington and IU’s campus.
CastleBrooke Farms offers a variety of rental options for both large and small groups. Please note a refundable security deposit is required.
Groups up to 12 people:
